Filled with gilded State Rooms which house one of the finest collections in Europe, as well as the room where Sir Winston Churchill was born in 1874, the history of the palace is interesting and the site beautiful as well. A trip to the palace should include a guided tour of the palace including its paintings, furniture, tapestries as well as the gardens. Located throughout the 2000 acres, the gardens are filled with flowers, a secret garden, terraces and a maze.
